Dr Kartush has invented numerous medical devices used around the world to make surgery safer and more effective:
TRAINING
Dr. Kartush received his Medical Degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and completed a two-year general surgical residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, followed by a four-year residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Michigan. He remained at the University for fellowship training in otology and neurotology.
Prior to joining Michigan Ear Institute, Dr. Kartush served as Director of Otology/Neurotology at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Ann Arbor and as Associate Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan.
ELECTED POSITIONS
Dr. Kartush is President of the American Neurotology Society and is Past-President of the Michigan State Otolaryngology Society and the founding President of the American Society of Neurophysiologic Monitoring. He is an Editorial Reviewer for numerous scientific journals.
LECTURES
Dr. Kartush is a frequent lecturer. He has been invited to speak at over 100 meetings nationally and internationally.
