Dr. Eric W. Sargent joins the Michigan Ear Institute from Saint Louis University, where he was an Associate Professor and the Director of Otology/Neurotology in the Department of Otolaryngology. In addition to interests in chronic ear disease, skull base surgery, and acoustic neuroma, Dr. Sargent has a particular interest in cochlear implantation. He initiated the cochlear implant program at Saint Louis University and has participated in clinical trials of new cochlear implant technology. His research interests include the functional impact of unilateral hearing loss and the diagnosis and treatment of migraine-related dizziness.
