Kenneth R. Bouchard, Ph.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Kenneth R. Bouchard is the Director of the Michigan Ear Institute's Division of Audiology, Electrophysiology and Vestibular Laboratory. He is widely published in the field of audiology and has received extensive grant support for his work in vestibular and hearing research.
Dr. Bouchard received his MA degree in psychology and his Ph.D. degree in audiology from Wayne State University. In 1978 and 1979, Dr. Bouchard completed his clinical fellowship in audiology at Children's Hospital of Michigan.
From 1975 to 1985, Dr. Bouchard was a Clinical Research Associate in the Department of Otoneurology at William Beaumont Hospital, and from 1978 to 1985, he also served as a pediatric audiologist at Children's Hospital.
From 1985 to 1987, when he joined Michigan Ear Institute, Dr. Bouchard served as President of Hearing Associates in Maryland.
Dr. Bouchard is a member of The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, The Association for Research in Otolaryngology, The American Auditory Society, The Acoustical Society of America and the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in The Department of Audiology at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
