Temporal Bone Course

The Michigan Ear Institute offers a 5 day, comprehensive temporal bone surgical dissection course several times per year. The course involves didactic lectures on otologic, neurotologic, and audiologic topics and hands-on instruction on temporal bone micro-dissection. In addition to didactic lectures,  case presentations and group discussion regarding management of otologic disorders will be held. The course is taught by the staff of the Michigan Ear Institute.

The temporal bone lab is located in the lower level of the Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. It is a state of the art facility outfitted with the newest, most advanced instruments and stations for adequate, individualized learning.

The Traverse City Conference

For many years, the Michigan Ear Institute has hosted an annual, otologic-oriented conference with invited nationally recognized speakers. Lectures are given allowing for questions and informal discussions on various topics. This family oriented weekend is designed for learning recent updates in otology, as well as allowing camaraderie with colleagues, family, and friends.
